One last picture as we head out the door ...What a great few days with my niece it was nice to see her and spend some much needed time with family and just explore this great town I live in...

A Visit To Explore Part Two

After we left the farm we headed back into town and stopped to check out Natures Touch Nursery and Harvest.

You will find seasonal gourmet grocery's that specialize in locally grown,certified organic and naturally grown produce,dairy,fruits,breads,and meats.I really wanted to check out there Specialty plant nursery that stocks only California natives,Antique flowers and certified organic veg and herbs.

I love the raised beds.Umm add that to my list of backyard makeover plans.I really want to have a place to grown some fresh herbs and veggies....

For those of you that grew tomatoes this year or purchased some plants and they haven't produced for you no fear your plants aren't sick,you didn't get a bad plant the weather has been colder than it should be so your plants need warm weather to be able to produce so hang in there.(notice the curled leaves)

They also have a yummy selection of homemade treats to tempt you so if you are in need of some great herbs for your garden stop in and say hello to Melanie she would love to help you with any questions she also has a radio show called Earth Talk...

A Visit To Explore

My Niece came for a visit for a few days so I thought it would be the perfect time to explore some new places that have opened up and I have been meaning to check out.So she arrived on Friday mid afternoon so I made us lunch.Tarragon chicken salad sandwich with strawberry salad and lemon thyme sorbet for dessert .After lunch we chatted and got caught up and we decided on what we would do tomorrow.

The first stop we made was the Happy Acres Farms.I love all the yummy smelling and tasting products they make.We grabbed a basket and started to dig in.

After smelling all the delicious scents we decided on the burnt vanilla lotion made from goats milk.It not just smells divine but makes your skin so soft.We also bought some of there delicious fresh chevre for a mid day snack...

It was a great start to our day and we made some new friends.

TODAY IS MY ANNIVERSARY,ME AND MY HUBBY HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR 10 YEARS BUT TOGETHER FOR 13 YRS....HE SURPRISED ME WITH A EARLY ANNIVERSARY TRIP A FEW WEEKS AGO SINCE WE WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GET AWAY THE WEEK OF...SO WE WENT TO LAGUNA BEACH/DANA POINT AND STAYED AT THE CLIFFS RESORT IT WAS GREAT ,ROOM SERVICE, WATCHED A MOVIE OR TWO,SHOPPED,WENT DOWN TO THE BEACH WERE HE PROPOSED TO ME,IT WAS SO WONDERFULLY ROMANTIC...WHILE WE WERE THERE WE WENT TO VISIT HIS BROTHER AND SISTER IN LAW THEY TOOK US TO A BEAUTIFUL WINERY AND HAD THE BEST DINNER AND AS THE WAITER CAME TO THE TABLE TO ORDER MY HUSBAND SAYS MY WIFE WILL HAVE THE BLA BLA AND I WILL HAVE BLA BLA...THE WAITER SAYS TO ME WOW YOU DON'T SEE THAT ANYMORE A MAN THAT ORDERS FOR HIS WIFE WHAT A KEEPER AND THAT GOT ME THINKING HENCE THE TITLE OF THIS POST...ALL THE THINGS MY MAN DOES FOR ME AND I'M SO USED TO IT UNTIL IT IS BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION SO THIS IS MY LIST OF 10 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT MY MAN...

1.OPENS THE CAR DOOR FOR ME (EVEN WHEN WE ARGUE)

2.LOVES TO WATCH ALL THE CHICK FLICKS
